I purchased it for my newborn baby at that time, it worked very well, I amped up my mommy group and got positive feedbacks too, it has different heads for different ages, musical lights, different levels of suction, I was lucky I operated it very well, my baby had to clean his snotty nose every day, great solution for that, the maximum suction doesn't damage the baby's inner nasal cavity, he even enjoyed it, I Don't like to turn on the lights and music but it doesn't affect my favorite Still works great, of course I spray nasal saline before using it, that way it's easier to clean the nasal passages

FAQs on Grownsy Infant Electric Nasal Aspirator

Start with the lowest of the 3 modes and increase only if saline-softened mucus does not move.

• Thin discharge usually needs gentle suction; sticky or dried material needs moisture before power.

• The 3-mode electric nose aspirator lets you step up gradually, while the baby’s comfort, tip seal, and the manual should guide the final choice.

Use the lowest effective setting, keep the tip at the nostril entrance, and stop if distress increases.

Start with low suction for watery mucus, a middle level for softened sticky discharge, and the highest mode only when the manual permits it for stubborn mucus that has already been loosened with saline. Dried mucus should never be attacked with maximum power. Moisture, short passes, and the correct silicone tip are safer than force.

A soft, food-grade silicone tip sized for the infant’s nostril is the safest choice. It should seal at the entrance without stretching the opening or entering deeply.

It includes 3 tip shapes for different stages and mucus types. Select the smallest effective one, and never compensate for a poor fit with stronger suction.

LOVE!!

I love this auto boogie sucker way better than the self sucker! I don't get sick as often! It's also cleaner, easier to clean - just wash it in the sink and I can hold it up to his nose longer without him getting upset. The lights and music make it easier for days he isn't feeling good and grumpy. Also can use it on the go or have other family members use it without sharing germs.

A Must-Have for Babies

This thing is awesome. After hurting my kiddos nose a few times with a bulb syringe I went for one of these and I'm so glad I did. It has different tips, so I can use it on my 5 and 3 year old, and then switch tips to safely use it on my 6 month old. My 6 month old, more often than not, perks up and smiles when he sees the light on this. He does try to grab at it and it makes it a little hard to suction his nose, but still way easier than a bulb syringe. It's easy to clean if you do it immediately after use. The charge also lasts a long time.

Love it!

This was a gift for my grandson, who’s 21 months now. It was wonderful to have when he was an infant, but even more so now. I call it his boogy train and he loves me using it to help when he’s congested. I use it for his 8 month old sister too. I wish I had had one of these when my son was little.

Worth the price!!

I got this a few days ago and it’s already been used more than I can count. I was having to clear out noses with a bulb suctioner or with the FRIDA mouth one…don’t waste your time and just buy this! The suction is stronger than you’d think and you’re done suctioning in no time. My kids think it’s fun and it doesn’t upset them like other things I’ve used have. Only 4 stars because I wish it sealed better in their noses for a more powerful suction. But it still gets the job done efficiently.

Great tool for the little ones!

I was hesitant to use an electric nose aspirator and have been using the mouth suction kind for 2 years on my toddlers. After picking up whatever cold they had for the 90th time I was talking to another mom at the park she said the same thing was happening to her so she quit using the manual and tried the electronic one and it worked really well.

I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. It has 3 different bulbs to use, it plays music and has lights. The suction works great. It’s disgusting what is coming out but hey, it works! My toddler isn’t a huge fan but he’s quick to stop crying after it’s done and always wants to see what’s in it. It’s easy to wash and comes in a handy case.

I did have to reach out to customer support for help with setting up the warranty and they were super fast to respond and help.

Baby Loves It... Yes, I said loves it!

The moment the lights and song comes on my baby starts smiling. If she's crying, she stops crying once I turn it on. It has made this task almost enjoyable. We live in a cold and dry climate, so while I haven't used it for lots of mucus/sickness yet, I do use it regularly for winter dry, stuffed nostrils. Unfortunately, It stopped working after 6 weeks but customer service has been great. I ordered another one (as the baby cries with anything else) and Zoe from their customer service team, walked me through the steps and offered me a refund. She was kind and very helpful. It's a great product if booger sucking gets you and baby down.

Use this on our 3 year old

I was hoping that one of the nose adaptors would be similar to the manual nose frida suction (were it blocks the nostril and has a larger hole) but it doesn't and that is probably the only thing I'd wish it had. We use it on our 3 year old who cannot figure out how to blow his nose. He has a love-hate relationship with it and mostly tolerates it because it has music. He always feels better once we get the sticky stuff out but we do have to use it often when he is sick. We use a nebulizer with sterilized water to help break it up (similar to a humidifier) before we suck the snot out. It doesn't work as well with runny snot because the silicone adaptors have such small holes. I take it apart and rinse/wash the pieces each time in hot water and haven't had a problem with any smells etc some people have. A single charge lasts a long time and I usually only need to run it on 2 or the middle setting to get mucus out. I'm happy I don't need to suck it out manually anymore with the frida!

Doubles a fantastic toy!

My 4-month-old loves this!
After we are done aspirating his nose and I’ve cleaned the device, I dim the light and let him play with the aspirator for 5 minutes. He is fascinated by the changing light show and loves that it plays “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”.

The aspirator also works great for its original purpose with 3 different suction strength settings. One of my best purchases!

Game changer

Frida-who? This thing is amazing. I mean my infant hates it, but the amount of snot removed is impressive & so helpful. Still need to use saline to help the snot slide out easier. This cold/flu season has literally been hell, a new snot every 2 weeks, this aspirator has made life so much easier. I did have to contact the sellers bc after 8 weeks of use a little prong broke that holds the collection reservoir in place. They were willing to replace the aspirator no questions asked and no hassle of returning the defective one. 10/10 for product and support.

Works well

I've been a Nose Frida fan for nearly a decade, and took a chance on this item because I liked to design and options. I prefer this honestly. The angle is super helpful and I ĺike how soft and gentle the tips are. The case is great to keep everything together and clean. The only thing I'd prefer is for there to be a white or a soft light that stayed constant instead of changing. I know its to distract the baby, but, I'd prefer to use it as a regular light so I don't need to put to bright of a light on a night when I need to use it.

Great product

I bought this for a baby I'm expecting in Feb so I haven't used it on an infant yet but I tried it on myself and the suction seemed good. I like the lights and baby music it has, hopefully they will keep distracted enough to use it on her. Rechargable so no need to worry about batteries. I ended up returning the manual blue suction bulbs hoping I won't need them at all since I have this. Comes in a nice box to keep all parts together so I can carry it in the diaper bag and always have it.

Yes, you really do NEED it!!

Just buy it, seriously! I have 4 of my own children and have taken care of many, many other children and this is now and forever going to be my go to baby gift. Yes, this is better than the nose Frieda and any of the other nose suckers I have bought. You have to charge it when it arrives but once you do it’s good to go for a long time, many months. Cleaning took me a bit to figure out, but once I realized the inner container where the mucus goes the top actually comes off (face palm) it’s super easy to clean. I wash with hot water and air dry it. My now almost two year old holds it and now uses it himself, with supervision, and he loves the lights and music. The pictures attached are what he got out himself. If a two year old can do it, so can you!! I believe I got mine on sale for $40 and it was so worth it! Those nights (and days) of worrying about my little one not being able to breath, sleep, or eat, etc. just totally worth the price and you will use it a lot!! Three suction strength settings so it was good for little babies and big babies.

A game changer for infants!

A lifesaving tool for babies!!! Don’t know how we went our first child without one of these. Bought this when our second was born and it’s a game changer. Doesn’t hurt the baby, has 3 different suction strengths and sounds and lights for when they get a little older to distract them! Doesn’t irritate the nose and always gets out so much! Our babies can breathe better because of this!!

WORTH IT

When my kids (2 YO and 3.5 YO) lost the tube piece of my original Nose Frida in the middle of their colds, I was that mom who wondered if an upgrade to a nasal aspirator was worth it. After some research, I settled on this one because of the light and musical distraction, plus the 20% off because, let’s be real, which mom doesn’t need to save a few bucks here and there?

Totally worth it. And I’ve attached a completely disgusting and gross TMI photo that I wish was there for me as proof it works. Seeing is believing (maybe?).

My 3.5 YO is usually super brave but this is the one item she was scared about. I think she wasn't actually scared but the more she told me she was scared, the more she became actually scared. Long story short, I stuck the aspirator in my nose and literally felt nothing. It was loud but it did not feel like my brain was being sucked out, and after I let her practice sticking it in my nose, I held her down while she screamed and cried and sucked the gunk out of her nose. When she realized it was over and she could breathe and she felt nothing and her brain was still there - that’s when she became a believer. The next day, she started asking for it herself, turned the music and sound and suction to 3 (strongest) and sucked her own nose independently and afterwards, her passage is completely cleared and she can breathe for hours as opposed to constantly blowing her nose and getting tissue burn and still being congested. She would grab it and show how to suck her nose to all her aunts and uncles, who watched the entertainment in horrified fascination (yeah, they don’t have kids so they’re not used to the grossness that comes with kids).

My son doesn’t like it but doesn’t fight it when I promise him a treat afterwards. We always used the strongest suction and the smallest/medium tip for him and medium tip for her.

Washing and cleaning isn’t too bad, except there are lots of pieces, which you get used to after a while.

The only problem we had was in the beginning, the aspiration leaked snot into the motor handle, which I think is supposed to stay dry. That made me more hesitant because we aren’t supposed to wash the handle, yet there was no way I was just going to let the snot sit there without cleaning it. I did rinse the handle tip where the snot touched very carefully and kept it tilted and dried. I also turned on the aspirator so it would spit the water back out. I would not recommend rinsing it but after a few rinses, it still works, just FYI. I think the snot may have escaped because I didn’t put the pieces together correctly because after the first few times, snot stayed within the washable pieces and didn’t touch the motor.

All in all, I found it much easier to use than the original Nose Frida and would totally recommend it!

Great

It worked great for a couple months and suddenly stopped turning on even after being fully charged. I loved this so much more than using a bulb. My baby girl hated the bulb and would cry so much. With this, she gets distracted by the lights and music she doesn’t mind it as much and doesn’t cry. She recently got a cold and it was helping so much to keep her runny nose clear. Suction power is great, it doesn’t suck up anything if you just leave it one spot, you need to move it around a little. The pieces are easy to clean, I just let it soak in warm soapy water and rinse after. They take some getting use to taking it apart but I don’t mind it if it’s helping clear out my daughter’s nose.

I’ve reached out to grownsy customer service and they replied quick. They are going to send a replacement. Thanks Grownsy!

Purposeful but annoying

CON: Literally LOVE this thing, especially when my son is sick, except the tips are so easy to lose because they just pop on/off. I wish the tips were screwed on to make it at least toddler proof, we all know their sticky little fingers get into everything and then the very next thing it's in their mouth. As much as we tried to keep it out of his hands, we found ourselves finding the tip in his mouth or him throwing it around (since its a super soft silicone material, I understand his obsession). It comes in a nice travel case, which you think would help in preventing losing tips...NOPE. Just giving an honest Mom review. So it's 3 stars for me because I've already lost two tips, down to the very last one and I do not see an option that allows ONLY buying the tips seperately and I don't think I'd buy specifically this one again if that's the case.

PRO: like I said, super soft, good suction, love that it also has music and light options to distract your toddler when their having a fit and don't want to have their boogies suctioned LOL. My son has a love/hate relationship with it. He knows it allows him to breathe when he's sick and sometimes even wants to do it himself, others days it's a fight so just be aware of your child's own personality. Easy to charge and last a good while and travels well, took to our family vacation.

BUYER BEWARE - Only used for half a year and multiple issues

First of all, I suspect the one that I got wasn't even new and was a returned item because it came looking dirty and the packaging was messed up. Whatever, I was a new mom at the time and had no time to try to return it and get another one - obviously when you have a newborn and need to be suctioning their snot, this is pretty low priority.

So the first main problem. The "head" of the nasal aspirator screws on with two tiny pieces of VERY CHEAP plastic. It turned out that after the third or four time we unscrewed the head on and off, these two very narrow and thin pieces of plastic were weakened until they basically snapped and fell off. I'm very careful with things and I can only imagine that either the plastic is truly of unfathomably flimsy quality, or the plastic was already cracked/damaged when I got it. The result of having these two pieces snapped off is that the aspirator is still somewhat usable but the head isn't actually secured well. Not exactly something you want to be worrying about with a squirming baby.

The second problem is that the body of the aspirator device can't be opened and something SMELLS TERRIBLE in there. Initially I didn't understand that it was coming from the aspirator and was trying to look everywhere for the source of the smell. Then at one point my husband smelled the bottom of the aspirator (where the USB charging port is) and gagged. I looked up reviews online and realized that maybe some snot was suctioned into the main body even when 100% used correctly - which is RIDICULOUSLY BAD DESIGN that that's even possible - and the instructions was to let it run for a long time. Well, even after a long time of running it dry to air it out or whatever, it still smells like something died every time I turn it on.

I paid almost $40 for this ($36.99 + tax), I expect better quality from a product and especially for it to last more than a few uses.

This Thing is a Booger Sucking Beast

We have tried all the booger suckers for our congested little nugget, and this is HANDS DOWN THE BEST. I was impressed with the nosefrida automatic sucker, but that has nothing on this beast. This thing cleans him out so fast and efficiently. Its literally been a booger game changer. The nice part is its clear, so you can actually see what is happening, as gross as it is. You feel like a true champion when you see a massive booger slide on in with ease. Your little one is also pleased when they can finally breathe with ease.

The lights and music is a nice distraction, and usually he SCREAMS when the nosefrida approaches, this one he looks at in awe - and then screams once he realizes what is happening. But the fight to get to his nose is much less difficult. I have been sending the link to all my friends with kids. I even bought a second one to keep in the diaper bag with cold and flu season upon us. Its easy to clean, easy to use, and gets the job done easily!

WHOA!@! It works great 👍

I saw the positive reviews for this product. N I watched videos over and over. So after I purchased this brand, I saw there was a review about the tips to this aspirator. So I grew weary of what did I buy....
As soon as it was delivered, I opened and cleaned then used it for my daughter. It works. I saw the tip collapse. Which was mentioned by a mother on the video. But it worked for my daughter. So I wasn't concerned. I used the saline spray too which was great
Now it was time to clean the parts after use. Whoa!@! It was awesome to see how much snot was sucked out from her nose. So, I do recommend this product. Make sure to use with saline spray too.

I would buy this for anyone with a baby

This is the #1 thing I recommend to any of my friends with babies. Has been an absolute life saver multiple multiple times. As a mother I can't recommend anything stronger than this product.

Love this thing

Works so well. It’s pretty gross but having this task assisted by an electronic device in lieu of the bulb or similar manual devices is worth the cost. When I got this I thought it was silly to have lights and music but this makes it way easier to distract/entertain our little one and get it in his nose. He kind of likes it :) It also holds a charge well. I think I’ve only charged it once in 6 months.

This blows nose Frida out of the water

I am genuinely upset I have made it YEARS as a parent without discovering this. I would pay triple this to never manually suck my kids nose with a nose frida ever again. Buy it, thank me later.
