I care for a person with dysphasia and they can't drink from regular vessels. This sterilizer makes it possible for me to provide an extra layer of protection for a person who already has delicate health. The product feels very sturdy, with thick, see through bins. It is easy to stack them together. There is no complicated closure, they just fit together. Nothing escapes the seal. The base is weighty enough to keep it in place. The entire device takes up less space on the countertop, but it is tall, so it does not fit easily under a cabinet overhang. I'm not reducing a star for that, because I just love it so much! I can wash the dishes, and then place them into the bin, with the brushes, tops and straws in the top section. Push one button to turn it on, and then one other button to choose your desired mode. It has four. The reservoir is shallow, and so simple to wipe clean after each use. It has a max fill line clearly marked. It has a short power cord, but that just keeps the countertop clutter to a minimum. It can be nested to a more compact size for storage. It also comes with tools and several microwave sterilization bags for travel. Nice bonus. This is worth the 5 stars, and would make a perfect gift for any bottle feeding mom to be. It continues to be a valuable addition to your germ fighting arsenal as the baby grows, and as I am using it, for elderly care as well. The value at $70 or less is very fair for such a well designed and durable product.
